What is this event about?This event will be an opportunity to share your views and experiences with the Scottish Government&#x27;s <a href="https://www.gov.scot/groups/commission-for-the-land-based-learning-review/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Commission for the Land-Based Learning Review</a> and to contribute to shaping the future of learning in Scotland’s land-based and aquaculture sectors.The event will cover the themes of:∙ Education and Training ∙ Skills Gaps and Shortages ∙ Awareness and Perception of the Land-based SectorBackground Information The Commission is a short-term advisory group that will provide Scottish Ministers with independent, evidence-based recommendations and advice on how to attract more people into the land-based and aquaculture sectors and how to improve learning pathways. The review covers learning from early-years to adulthood - through school, college, university and work-based learning - with the aim to help more people, and specifically more women, to work with and on the land, particularly in &#x27;green skills&#x27;. A key part of the Review, and the purpose of this stakeholder event, is to gather a wide range of views, experiences and evidence to inform the Commission’s considerations and recommendations.
