Exploitation CSE/CCE Awareness Briefing for Tameside Parents

My Recovery Tameside deliver training and events to the local community to raise awareness of issues relating to substance use and harm reduction. These sessions can be aimed at professionals and volunteers working within relevant fields, parents in the local area, young people, or people who might be concerned about their own substance use. These can be run virtually or in-person, and we are open to coming into a specific workplace, organisation or community group to deliver a bespoke event.

My Recovery Tameside - Branching Out

Are you a parent/resident living in the Tameside area and want to learn more about the subject of exploitation of young people ?Branching Out is the young persons drug and alcohol service in Tameside and we are offering a free 1 hour, online briefing to give you some basic foundation knowledge around this subject.In this session we will briefly explore the different ways in which young people can be groomed and exploited with a specific focus on child sexual exploitation and child criminal exploitation and County Lines.Content:<ul><li>To offer a basic awareness of Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE)</li><li> To offer a basic awareness of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE)</li><li>Awareness' of the local support on offer in Tameside</li><li>Allows for the opportunity to ask questions</li></ul>The training is being offered online via Microsoft Teams Once we have your confirmed booking, you will be sent a calendar booking link via email with instructions on how to join the online training event.
