Join us at The Backstage Centre in Purfleet for our free drama workshop for children and teens to explore their emotional wellbeing.This event is also a chance for parents to meet the team and find out more about the workshops, ahead of our 6 week programme starting in November.Reserve a free ticket for your child/ren today. Spaces are limited.About Drama in MindDrama in Mind has a mission to support children and young people aged 8 -16 years explore their emotional wellbeing on issues they may face on a daily basis (e.g. anger, shame, fear, bullying). About our workshopsUsing the imaginative power of drama, our interactive workshops provide valuable learning opportunities for your children, allowing them to express themselves creatively whilst embracing a new, positive perspective or even changing their mindset on an issue.​Lead by DBS checked, professional performers, each workshop focuses on an issue that challenges the child to think things through from a different angle and then create a sketch to present to the rest of the group. This not only increases confidence in each child but also encourages relationship building skills.Positive outcomes for children and young people:• Understanding emotions• Overcoming obstacles• Confidence building• Creative expression• Making friends
