Mary's Meals 20th Anniversary Event - Glasgow

Mary’s Meals is a simple idea that works. By providing a daily meal in a place of education, Mary’s Meals encourages chronically poor children to the classroom where they can gain a basic education that provides an escape route from poverty. T﻿oday, more than 2.2 million children will eat Mary's Meals at schoolOur mission is to enable people to offer their money, goods, skills, time, or prayer, and through this involvement, provide the most effective help to those suffering the effects of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest communities. We have thousands of supporters and volunteers both in the UK and around the world.

You are invited to attend our 20th anniversary event at Glasgow Caledonian University, in the Annie Lennox building.Join us from 13.00 to browse stalls selling a range of beautiful gifts from Mary&#x27;s Meals and crafts made by volunteers before hearing from inspirational speakers from 14.00 – including our founder Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow and guest, Judy Murray - followed by refreshments. It’s incredible to think this journey of ours began in 2002 when we served our first school meals to 200 children in a school in Malawi.Since then, thanks to your kindness and support, our mission has continued to grow.
