The Leeds Library

<p>Our meet-up is an opportunity to voice your views in a relaxed setting and enjoy a delicious selection of afternoon-tea-style refreshments, as well as to hear from Ecology’s Directors and new Chief Executive, Gareth Griffiths, who will be sharing his vision for Ecology’s future.  </p><p>This event is open to Ecology members and those with an interest in our sustainable lending. Please make sure you add any additional guests when you register to ensure we can accommodate everyone on the day.</p><p>Founded in 1768, The Leeds Library is a gem of a heritage library and the oldest surviving subscription library of its kind in the British Isles. One of Leeds’ most iconic cultural institutions, it is a thriving hub of creativity, ideas and inspiration, and a book lover’s paradise. An Ecology loan is enabling Leeds Library to expand, securing its future and uniting its collection of over 140,000 books.</p><p>Accessibility: A stair lift is available for visitors and staff are on hand to assist. As the library is within a Grade II listed building, there are some constraints on accessibility adaptations.
