Why do employers often reject creative ideas when employees suggest them, despite recognising creative skills as desirable and future proof?

<p>Creativity and innovation skills are widely acknowledged as being desirable in the workplace for problem solving, knowledge creation and the development of new opportunities. Such skills are also recognised as being ‘future proof’, especially in the face of new technologies. Yet, employers often reject creative ideas despite increasingly asking employees to suggest them. This webinar will focus on why this mismatch happens, specifically drawing on evidence from a global manufacturing organisation.</p>
