Pathways to Employment: An Event for Young People with SEND and their Families

Haringey Sixth Form College

This event will include an opportunity for you to; •	hear from young people with SEND and their routes into employment •	attend workshops about Support for Disabled Students at University•	access arrangements and reasonable adjustments in the workplace•	understand the world of Adult Social careProviders of disability specific employment schemes such as supported internships will also be available for you to meet and talk with.This event is aimed at students from year 9 upwards but families of younger children may wish to attend to find out more. It is suitable for students with and without an EHCP. If you have any additional access requirements please email Ellika McAuley ellika.mcauley@haringey.gov.uk who will be able to assist.
