Health and wellbeing events organised by the Organisational Development department at the University of Sussex.

The Heales Medical Healthy Eating webinar is co-hosted by Carys Swanton (Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Coach and MSc Dance Science) and Elise DeFusco (Counsellor, Dpsych) to discuss the ideas behind healthy eating, how this can be practically implemented without creating problems and also the psychology of eating and how our eating habits are heavily influenced by biological, physiological and cultural influences.This webinar will cover:<ul><li>What is considered healthy eating</li><li>The Eatwell guide and government recommendations</li><li>Hydration</li><li>Portion sizes</li><li>Food labels</li><li>Psychology of eating</li><li>Biological, physiological and cultural influences</li></ul>At the end of the session you will receive a survey link - Your opinion matters! Your feedback helps us to know what works and what doesn’t, allowing us to create a better and more relevant learning experience.Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any specific requirements regarding this staff development activity (e.g. hearing/sight impairment) so that we can do our very best to accommodate your needs.A﻿ link to join the session will be emailed to you the day before the event.
