The University of Nottingham Men's and Women's Hockey 1st teams take on the University of Bath in our first Headliner of the 22/23 season!

The award-winning Headliner series with RedBull returns for the 2022/23 season! In our first event of the year our Men&#x27;s and Women&#x27;s Hockey teams take on the University of Bath in BUCS action. Back to back matches are sure to provide plenty of excitement and action down at the Nottingham Hockey Centre!Push back times:Women&#x27;s match begins at 4.15pmMen&#x27;s match begins at 6.15pmThe Headliner is an event series, hosted by University of Nottingham Sport and supported by RedBull showcasing our BUCS teams competing at the top level of university sport. The series is competitive as our teams compete against other Universities at the top of the BUCS table. Expect to see rising-star student athletes on campus, metres away from your halls of residence or university lectures.Support from Red Bull promises an extra special match day experience for spectators with a live DJ. The event is free to attend but past fixtures have been known to bring in crowds of over 500 supporters - this isn&#x27;t an event to miss so book your ticket now!This Headliner event will be a fundraiser for Movember and a donation can be made when you register for your ticket.Getting to the Nottingham Hockey Centre &amp; entryThe Headliner will take place at Nottingham Hockey Centre on Beeston Hockey Club&#x27;s main pitch. Nottingham Hockey Centre is located on the South Westerly side of the main University Park campus and can be easily accessed via University Boulevard (use postcode NG7 2PS).Entry to the event is from 3.45pm.You can also find details of how to get here by car, bus or tram <a href="https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/about/visitorinformation/mapsanddirections/universityparkcampus.aspx" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>. Our nearest park and ride is Toton Lane and you hop off at the University Boulevard stop.C﻿arry-in policySealed bottles of water and soft drinks, and personal size food items (e.g., a sandwich, crisps, piece of fruit) are all permitted. Strictly no alcohol is permitted to be brought into the complex.ConcessionsFood and drink will be available inside from various concessions stands. These operate via Cashless payment only (options include credit/debit cards).P﻿arkingParking on-site is restricted and by appointment only and therefore there will be limited parking availability at Nottingham Hockey Centre. As a result, we encourage spectators to use public transport wherever possible. Ample parking is available on University Park Campus which is just a short walk away.
