This special event is for anyone looking to enhance their knowledge of screenwriting, no matter what your experience, and will include a special workshop on developing peer-support networks. We’re thrilled to be joined by industry experts including Hannah Rose (Comedy Development Producer for Tiger Aspect) and the writer Afshan D’souza-Lodhi. The day will feature a session delivered by BBC Writersroom. BBC Writersroom discover, develop and champion new and experienced writing talent across the whole of the UK. Head of New Writing, Jess Loveland, will join us for an introduction to BBC Writersroom to cover what they do, how they can help and how you can get involved. You will have the opportunity to meet other emerging screenwriters and given the chance to put your questions to industry experts.Please note, we will be hosting other Writing for TV events online and in different locations in the North in the near future.
