A new independent bookshop for Exeter. Expect a range of events including an instagram book group and books and music pairings. Events are currently online only.

Come along to Bookbag's poetry slam  and hear global majority poets in Exeter battle it out to become Bookbag's first poetry slam champion!

<p>Come along to Bookbag’s first poetry slam! In recognition Black History Month, Bookbag will be hosting its very first poetry slam, showcasing the voices of poets of colour in Exeter and sharing work from Black poets throughout time. The night will consist of readings, good vibes, and a friendly competition between local poets. </p><p>T﻿his event will start at 19:00 and be held in Bookbag. Spaces for the slam can be booked here and there will be a £2 entry fee on the door that can be paid with either cash or card. If you&#x27;re interested in participating in the slam please email info@bookbag.shop, we&#x27;d love to hear from you!</p>
