Come along to our fourth Community Conference to hear how we are changing the way we work together &amp; help us be better at this.

We are working hard to empower and enable you, our partners and our communities so that together we can help make Torbay thrive.Over the past three years we have changed the way we work together and we would like to invite you to our next Community Conference to share what has been achieved. We also want to hear from you about how we can continue to learn and do better.Our conference gives us an opportunity to come together to celebrate the Bay. A chance to meet and talk with people about how we can continue to build on our successes and face the new challenges we have around housing, cost of living, the climate emergency and how Torbay can become child and family friendly.You will also hear from those who work in our community, about how together we are improving the Bay. There will also be a question and answer session with the Leader of Torbay Council, Cllr Steve Darling, the Deputy Leader, Cllr Darren Cowell and the senior leadership team.Register now to secure your placeA﻿gendaRegistration from 6.30 pm - with an opportunity to look around a number of stands from a range of our services.7 pm - Conference starts, and will include:-﻿ Welcome by Cllr Steve Darling, Leader of Torbay Council-﻿ Celebrating Torbay - including presentations from a couple of our local community and voluntary groups-﻿ The community's role in Torbay's Story, led by Cllr Darren Cowell - including a question and answer session-﻿ Break for refreshments and a chance to take a look at our exhibition stands that will showcase services and work from across the Council and our partners-﻿ Our current challenges - hear about what these challenges are and have the chance to discuss with those on your table how we can together build on the successes over the last couple of years and tackle these challenges -﻿ Summary of the evening and what happens next 9 pm - Conference comes to a close. VenueThe conference will be held in the Forum at the Riviera International Centre. Due to the main reception area being used for another event, you will need to enter through the Grace Murrell suite doors. These can be found on the left hand side of the centre down the slope. There will be people around to direct you the right way. Parking will be free while you attend the event.
