The PGT Cafe: Commuter Students

The University Graduate School is dedicated to supporting University of Birmingham’s postgraduate researcher (PGR) community. Fostering cross-college, interdisciplinary communities and acting as a gateway to support and advice. We work closely with the other University support services to ensure our postgraduate researchers have access to a high quality experience.

<h2>The University Graduate School supports postgraduates at the University of Birmingham. We offer a variety of academic, social and wellbeing activities throughout the year. Any questions or concerns you have will be shared by others, so talking to fellow PGTs and members of staff can help you on your postgraduate journey.</h3><h3><strong>If you&#x27;re a postgraduate taught student who is commuting to and from campus</strong>, j﻿oin our November PGT Cafe for a relaxed, informal social where you can meet other PGT students in a similar situation to you and chat about how you&#x27;re getting on. Bring your lunch and enjoy tea and coffee on us!</h3><h3>C﻿hoose your ticket to book your place: you can join us 12-1pm or 1-2pm for intros and icebreakers, or choose both tickets to stay throughout and meet new people.</h3><h3><strong>This PGT Cafe is especially for postgraduate taught students who are commuting to and from campus. </strong>First and second years are welcome! It&#x27;ll be a great chance to meet some fellow PGTs over a cup of tea or coffee - come chat!</h3><h2><strong>Cafe 1902 is located on the ground floor of University House (O3 on the </strong><a href="https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/contact/directions/index.aspx" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><strong>campus map</strong></a></h2><p><strong>Please note: This is an alcohol free event </strong></p><p><strong>This event is open only to University of Birmingham postgraduate taught students (PGT). </strong></p><p>PGT programmes include: MA, MSc, MBA, MEd, LLM, MPH, Maths SKE, MPA, PG Affiliate, PG Certificate, PG Dip Ed, PG Diploma, and PGCE. </p><p>Any other questions, please contact Elizabeth O&#x27;Connor graduateschool@contacts.bham.ac.uk</p><p>Registration will close 15 mins before the event start time or when tickets are sold out. We will be checking attendees against the Eventbrite registration and you may be refused entry if we have met capacity and you are not on the list. We have limited capacity so please cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend.</p><p></p>
