<h1>D﻿iwali celebration</h1><h2>T﻿he Ramayana dance opera </h2><h2>with south Asian and western music, Indian and Nepalese dance, singing and narration</h2><h3><strong>F﻿riday October 28th 7-9pm</strong></h3><h3><strong>S﻿t Mary&#x27;s Parish Hall, The Churchyard, Ashford TN23 1QG (in the centre)</strong></h3><h3>E﻿quator Festival is embarking on a new cross-cultural World in a Tent opera project where it will be developing a series of operas on The Ramayana which forms the backbone of much of south Asian and south-east Asian culture. </h3><h3>P﻿lease join us on this journey featuring multicultural dancers, singers and musicians from across the world and the UK including south Asian, Carnatic musicians and Nepalese dancers.    </h3><h3>T﻿here will also be Nepalese and Indian snacks and food to purchase.  Indian dance and drumming taster sessions included. </h3><h3>Free parking after 6pm in Vicarage Lane car park or Elwick Road car park. </h3><h3>T﻿ickets - £8, £5 (child).  Children under 6 free. </h3>
