Edinburgh Advanced Toastmasters is an advanced speaking club, chartered by Toastmasters International.We meet on the second Monday of every month at 7:15pm BST (or GMT)As an EAT member, you will:•	benefit from the collective experience of advanced members•	receive more focussed evaluations with a three-minute oral evaluation followed by a seven minute open evaluation•	have the opportunity to complete longer projects•	practice advanced Table Topics•	benefit from four minutes of open feedback on your evaluation skills when you are the general evaluatorTo become a member, you must have completed at least eight evaluated speeches, either in Pathways or the Toastmaster legacy programme.

Join to learn how to add more Rhythm & Cadence to your speaking and how to write a Hit Speech the same way that musicians write a Hit Song

Since 2007, Rocky Schurr has been a member of Toastmasters where he found a home competing in speech contests. Since joining Rocky has won six District Championships, and, in 2015, advanced to the semi-finals of the World Championship of Public Speaking. Rocky is a budding Public Speaking Coach, sharing his love for speaking and the skills he learned throughout his Toastmasters journey, to help others bring their speaking to a whole new level. In this workshop, you will learn how to add more rhythm and cadence to your speaking, and learn to write a Hit Speech the same way that musicians write a Hit Song.
