Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) is the national institute for health data with a mission to unite the UK’s health data to enable discoveries that improve people’s lives. It is a charity funded by UK Research and Innovation, the Department of Health and Social Care in England and equivalents in Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland, and leading medical research charities.

Supporting the launch of Wave 4 &amp; 5 of the NHS England PhD Data Science Internship Scheme, HDR UK will be hosting an NHS England-led webinar

NHS England will introduce the scheme and interns from Wave 3 will discuss their research and experiences.

HDR UK invites PhD students with an interest in health data science and artificial intelligence to participate especially those from relevant Wellcome PhD Programmes in Science, UKRI and EPSRC Centres for Doctoral Training. Academics with related research interests are also welcome to join to learn about the interactions and collaborations NHS England hopes to build.
