Talking & Exploring was set up and is run by Joanna Dudzinska, a qualified tour guide, English teacher and local history enthusiast, to bring people together in order to explore various areas off the beaten tourist trail. The walks are mainly in the West London area, are usually not long, both in distance and time, and are as much about sharing information and perspectives as learning about what you are seeing, and making friends. A stroll round Central Ealing seeking Polish connections past and present

Ealing Broadway Station

We will be uncovering and discovering the Polish connections with Ealing and visiting a few places where those connections may be more obvious - definitely the Polish church for one.Before and during the walk you will hear the story of the Polish people coming to Ealing after the war and laterWe will probably tell you a lot about Ealing as well and how it has been a home to many peoples over the decades.There will be an optional stop at a local cafe/restaurant after the walk to chill and chat.A few more things: Pictures are taken during our walks and the walk may be recorded so please let us know if you do not want to be included. As it's a walking tour, please make sure you wear suitable footwear and clothing.Please email us if you have any questions regarding the walk or if you would like to book a tour with us for your party.You may want to carry a bottle of water and a snack with you on the walk.We look forward to seeing you!
