Managing Child Meltdowns from 18 months to 4 years

A 1-hour workshop to explore what happens during a Tantrum (Meltdown) and how, as parents, we can respond.

Aims of this session
<ul><li>To understand physiologically what is happening during a Meltdown
</li><li>To understand development milestones in terms of Emotional Development. 
</li><li>To recognise ways of validating a child's emotions whilst maintaining boundaries
</li><li>To understand your child's triggers and how to manage these
</li><li>To provide techniques to keep calm and manage your own self-control
</li><li>To develop an understanding of self-regulation in children and how to support these skills
</li><li>To identify ways of progressing from co-regulation to self-regulation.</li></ul>The focus will be on ages 18 months - 4 years. There will be the opportunity to ask questions and also the opportunity to book a free 30-minute 1-1 phone call with Julie following the session.Tickets for the session are £10 per person/per couple.
