The PGR Brunch Club

The University Graduate School is dedicated to supporting University of Birmingham’s postgraduate researcher (PGR) community. Fostering cross-college, interdisciplinary communities and acting as a gateway to support and advice. We work closely with the other University support services to ensure our postgraduate researchers have access to a high quality experience.

<h1>The <a href="https://intranet.birmingham.ac.uk/student/graduateschool/index.aspx" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">University Graduate School</a> supports postgraduates at the University of Birmingham. We offer a variety of academic, social and wellbeing activities throughout the year. </h1><h1></h1><h1>This event is for postgraduate researchers (PGRs) - look out for our other events in our <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/pgr-events-2022-23-1275549" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">PGR Collection</a>!</h1><h3></h3><h3>Join us at Westmere House, the PGR Community Hub, every two weeks for brunch. Times are getting tougher recently and many of us are cutting back on treats but we don&#x27;t want you to miss out on opportunities to take breaks from work with friends. So join us for brunch on us!</h3><h3>We&#x27;ll have a few different cold food options to suits a range of dietary requirements, alongside hot drinks. This is a chance to spend some time away from your desk, save some money and chat to new people all at the same time. </h3><h3>The Brunch Club is very informal, with no networking/chatting required but we hope you&#x27;ll take the opportunity to engage with other PGRs. </h3><h3>I﻿f you can, bring a mug for your hot drink and save us from using disposable cups. </h3><h3>Please register for all Tuesdays you&#x27;d like to join us:</h3><h3>25th October, 8th November, 22nd November, 6th December. </h3><p></p><p><strong>This event is open only to University of Birmingham postgraduate researchers  (PGR )</strong>. </p><p>PGR programmes include: MPhil, MMus, MRes, MA by Research, MSc by Research, MLitt, PhD, PhD with integrated study, EngD, DDS, MD, Higher doctorates and Professional doctorates.</p><p>Registration will close 15 mins before the event start time or when tickets are sold out. We will be checking attendees against the Eventbrite registration and you may not be able to access brunch items if we have met capacity and you are not on the list.
