Established in 1974, Derbyshire Historic Buildings Trust (DHBT) has been responsible for the rescue of many historic buildings throughout Derbyshire.  Using their skills and knowledge, members of the Trust identify neglected and abandoned historic buildings and then work to bring them back into new sustainable use.The Trust is a non-profit registered charity that is committed to the heritage of Derbyshire, working with its own in-house professionals to provide help and advice to groups and individuals sharing a passion for historic buildings.

Join us from the comfort of your own home to catch up on the restoration work that the Derbyshire Historic Buildings Trust (DHBT) have been working on at Wingfield Station - and find out about the plans for 2023!With funding from Historic England, DHBT have been able to make this significant station water tight again - in spite of the complications of being next to a mainline railway.During this Zoom talk, you&#x27;ll hear from DHBT trustees and members of the project team, who will talk about the work that has happened so far and some of the challenges.Information will also be shared about how you can get involved with volunteering opportunities during this next phase of the project, which has been made possible thanks to funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.You can join for free, but please sign up via Eventbrite to access the joining link and to recieve any information about the talk prior to the date.We are still actively fundraising to match the Lottery grant - if you would like to donate to support the project, please do so here - every penny will help us to save this significant building: https://www.derbyshirehistoricbuildingstrust.org.uk/become-a-friend-of-dhbt
