Beat the Boredom - Forest school for adventurous kids!Funded by the WSCC Holidays and Activities Grant we are able to offer a FREE holiday club for children who are eligible for income assessed free school meals. Location: Parklands Primary School, Chichester. Designated forest school areaFunded sessions: Free for children who are eligible for income assessed free school meals. BEFORE YOU BOOK ANY FREE PLACES YOU WILL NEED YOUR HAF FSM CODE, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETE YOUR BOOKING WITHOUT THISNon-funded places: £90.00 per child for the full four days. Includes a freshly prepared hot lunch. Free places eligibility criteria:<ul><li>You will have a HAF FSM code issued by WSCC to be eligible. This will need to be provided when booking (Found on your FSM eligibility letter)</li><li>Children should be in receipt of income assessed free school meals</li><li>Be aged between 5 and 11yrs old</li><li>Live within West Sussex area or attend a school in West Sussex</li></ul>FAQ:I do not know my HAF FSM code but my child is entitled to income assessed free school meals and I would like to book a free place: You will not be able to book onto the sessions without this code, which can be found on your free school meals eligibility letter. You may also be able to retrieve this information from your school or by using the contact details on your letter.My child does not attend this school: That&#x27;s fine, all children who meet the above eligibility requirement irrelevant of the school they attend can book a place.Can I book onto more than one session: Yes, you can book as many sessions as you like.What to bring and wear:<ul><li>A refillable water bottle</li><li>Appropriate outdoor clothes and footwear for the time of year and weather.</li><li>Sun screen/sun hats (weather/season dependant)</li><li>Wet weather clothes, trousers and coat</li><li>Wellies for muddy wet days (weather/season dependant)</li><li>Additional warm clothing (weather/season dependant)</li></ul>Our bad weather contingency plan: We will continue the session outside in most weathers and will put up temporary shelters when needed. For very bad weather we will have use of the school hall and will offer fun and engaging indoor activities.My child has a SEND need: We would be grateful if you can let us know any information that you feel necessary. This is so that we can support your child and offer them the most positive and enjoyable experience at the sessions.My child has food allergies: There is a section on the order form to complete with any food allergies. Paid for places will be offered a full refund.Funded places: If your child is unable to attend or you need to cancel their place, please let us know asap so we can offer your place to another child.Paid for places: Unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund or transfer their places if your child is unable to attend.How is my information used? On the booking form you will need to agree for your details and all those who you have booked a free place for to be shared with WSCC Activities fund. They will only use this to record the success of the scheme and for their impact survey/funding data collection/success. Please note that WSCC will also use your data to check your eligibility to their funding criteria.GDPR policy: At time of booking we require some information about you and your child, for example allergies, alternative needs or special requirements, first aid, email and emergency contact phone number. This information is only kept for the duration of the course or event and your contact number will only be used by us in the event of an emergency arising with your child or if we need to contact attendees prior to the event to give extra information. If you consent for us to use your email to contact about future events, this will only be used by Woodland Wonders (we do not pass these details onto any other 3rd party) and will be used only to send details of other events run by Woodland Wonders that we think you may be interested in. If you consent for photos to be used, these will only be used for our Facebook page, website and promotional purposes only and are not passed onto anyone else.
