Woodland Wonders forest school provide forest school programmes for schools and communities, holiday activities, birthday parties and parent and child groups in the Chichester, West Sussex area."Leave only footprints and take only memories"We have a passion, deep respect and life long love of the outdoors and the natural world around us and through our work at Woodland Wonders we aim to teach and nurture children and all those that use our forest school our ethos and their own deep and lifelong love of the outdoors and the natural world.Our forest school experiences aim to provide the stepping stones for children to release their potential and learn in a holistic and nurturing environment. Giving embedded learning opportunities through play in a beautiful woodland environment.

A Christmas and Stickman themed parent and child session for children aged 18m-8years

Date: Wednesday 21st December, 9.30-11.30am or 1-3pmLocation: Applefield Smallholding, Chalk Lane, Chichester, West Sussex, P020 7LWAge range: Parent/carer and child morning for ages 18m to 8 years. Parents and children aged under 18 months attend for free when accompanied by a paying sibling.What to expect at &quot;Christmas With Stickman&quot;....Stickman helps Santa deliver the toys to fast asleep girls and fast asleep boys......Come and join us for some festive fun at &quot;Christmas With Stickman&quot;...We have lots of creative and Christmassy natural crafts and Stickman themed fun for all the family to enjoy<ul><li>Find a stick you like and make your very own Stickman to take home and have your own fun adventures with.</li><li>Whittle a stick to toast marshmallows over the fire</li><li>Bash some coloured chalk onto fabric to make a flag </li><li>U﻿se hand tools to create a Christmas decoration to take home.</li></ul>Plus there will also be time to play and explore, bug hunting, mud kitchen, swing and the hammock, and the opportunity to meet the animals that live on the farm.Squash and hot chocolate will be available for the children throughout the morning, with tea and coffee for the adults. Please wear appropriate outdoor clothes for the time of year, waterproofs and sturdy outdoor footwear if necessary, warm layers are essential. We do provide snacks and a drink, but please feel free to send an extra drink for your child.Price: £16.00 per child, includes food activity, equipment to use, all craft items made and refreshments for children and adults.Please note: We ask all attendees to wear appropriate closed shoes/wellies and clothes that you do not mind getting messy.FAQ&#x27;sWhat to bring along and wear:<ul><li>A cup for yourself and your child as we will be offering self service hot drinks for adults and hot chocolate for children.</li><li>Any snacks for your child that you would like to bring along.</li><li>If possible a pair a gardening or rigger gloves for your child to use for woodwork activities.</li><li>Weather appropriate clothes and footwear for farm and outdoor environments.</li></ul>My child has food allergies: There is a section on the order form to complete with any food allergies. If you would like to discuss any food allergies or other requirements further please do get in touch.Cancellation and refund policy: If in the unfortunate event we are unable to run the session due to unforeseen circumstances we will issue everyone with a full a refund. If you are unable to attend due to you having to self isolate, have Covid or for any other reason, unfortunately we will not be able to offer a refund.What happens if the weather is bad? We will continue the session in most weathers and have use of a communal greenhouse and a outdoor covered area on the field to run activities in if needed.Where is Applefield? Applefield is a small private smallholding in Sidlesham, near Chichester.What are the facilities? There is a composting toilet, running water and hand washing facilities. Parking is free and is either in the farmyard or field, dependant on weather.Your information and how we use it: At time of booking we require some information about you and your child, for example allergies, alternative needs or special requirements, first aid, email and emergency contact phone number. This information is only kept for the duration of the course or event and your contact number will only be used by us in the event of an emergency arising with your child or if we need to contact attendees prior to the event to give extra information. If you consent for us to use your email to contact about future events, this will only be used by Woodland Wonders (we do not pass these details onto any other 3rd party) and will be used only to send details of other events run by Woodland Wonders that we think you may be interested in. If you consent for photos to be used, these will only be used for our Facebook page, website and promotional purposes only and are not passed onto anyone else.
