The Chalk House Distillery - Worthing, Sussex

The Chalk House in Worthing is home to Slake Spirits, an independent distillery meticulously making wild inspired spirits in Sussex by the Sea.

During our favourite time of the year, our indie ecological distillery will be transformed into a snug, magical, full of festive treats Christmas Grotto! From a range of delicious Christmas drinks, including a sumptuous boozy hot chocolate and a warming mulled wine, to delectable build-your-own grazing boards, Slake's Christmas Grotto is the perfect place to unwind and cosy up after a long day. You can also have a sneak-peek around the distillery to see where all the making magic happens, have the chance to sample our award winning range of spirits and make any bottle purchases from the bar. Every Thursday evening until the 22nd December, tickets are free to book, or as a choose your own donation ticket for West Sussex MIND (which includes a tasty treat on your visit!)We look forward to seeing you there for all the festive cheer!N﻿OTE: Though tickets are bookable in one hour slots (e.g. 5pm / 6pm / 7pm), you are more than welcome to stay until we close at 8pm. We have assigned these slots purely so we can manage numbers which is part of our licensing agreement.
