Info Session: Community Benefit Gateway for Third Sector Organisations

EVOC (Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations’ Council) has been supporting the people and communities of Edinburgh since 1868. Our vision is for people in Edinburgh to live in an equitable, sustainable and resilient city, supported by a thriving third sector. Our purpose is to serve the needs of people and communities across Edinburgh by supporting our members and third sector organisations to be effective and drive the change they need. We will specialise in information gathering and sharing, research, analysis, advocacy and relationship management, to deliver impact for our members, funders and the wider community in Edinburgh.

Community and voluntary organisations across Edinburgh and the Lothians are invited to hear more about the support available through the <a href="https://www.nss.nhs.scot/procurement-and-logistics/sustainability/access-our-community-benefit-gateway/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">NHS Community Benefit Gateway</a>Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations&#x27; Council, Midlothian TSI, Volunteer Centre East Lothian, Voluntary Sector Gateway West Lothian and NHS Lothian are hosting this online info session focused on how to access the Community Benefit Gateway. W﻿hat is the Community Benefit Gateway?The Community Benefit Gateway is a free and easy to use online service that connects NHSScotland suppliers with third sector community organisations across Scotland.It can support a range of community initiatives including (but not limited to):<ul><li>Work placement opportunities</li><li>Volunteering projects</li><li>The provision of professional advice</li><li>Assistance with building community facilities</li><li>Environmental proposals</li><li>Improving and promoting biodiversity</li><li>Lifelong learning projects </li></ul>Who should attend this event?People from community groups, voluntary organisations, charities, social enterprises, co-operatives and individual volunteers that exist wholly or mainly to provide benefits for society or the environment. You need to have a company number or charity number to access the Gateway. This is a free online session and will be held on Zoom.
