About Tech Returners:Tech Returners is an inclusive and empowering organisation. We provide skilled tech professionals returning to the industry with accessible opportunities to refresh their skills after a career break. Our range of programmes, resources and development tools support software engineers to up-skill in tech, but also build confidence and return to their career in technology. The people we see returning to tech are diverse, talented and passionate. Yet, there is a stigma across businesses around career breaks. We work hard to break those barriers down, but there's only so much our voice can do. We decided to gather cold hard stats to back up the human stories and experiences we witness daily.About 'The Real Value of Returning to Tech' report:Throughout 2022, we gathered data, stories and insights to create a report which tells the real story of what returning to tech means for both businesses and individuals. The report delves into tech industry challenges and the realities of the returner demographic: From technical experience, the impact on businesses, to the perceptions and realities of career breaks.Plus, the report explores a series of statistics around the financials of getting returners into roles and importantly, the human impact on returners. This is topped off by valuable insight from our hiring partners including The Guardian, Daemon and Booking.com.This is an exclusive event which gives you the opportunity to get your hands on this report before anyone else.On the day:You'll be welcomed by Tech Returners co-founder, Beckie Taylor, to explore a range of topics regarding hiring tech talent, diversity and inclusion and the future potential of recruiting in tech. There will be three roundtable discussions plus Q&A panels and an open discussion around the untapped pool of talent that are career returners. We'll be joined by businesses that have supported returners back into work as well as the returners that have successfully transitioned back into technology after a break. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a select group of progressive businesses sharing knowledge and discussing opportunities around diverse hiring in the tech industry. Spaces are limited, please don't miss out. Short breaks are scheduled and a buffet lunch will be provided. Please let us know if you have any food allergies or special dietary needs.Any questions, drop us a message at hello@techreturners.com By kind permission of the Trustees and Director of the National Gallery.
