Learn new skills and have fun on my short greenwood craft workshops. I am a professional woodworker with 20years experience of making and teaching. I love passing on my knowledge in a safe, fun environment so you go home with new skills and confidence.

Learn to use an axe and knives to shape wood safely and efficiently with one of the UK's leading spoon carvers and instructors. This workshop will take you through the whole process of turning fresh greenwood into spoons and give you the confidence to carry on at home. My workshops are renowned for being fun, engaging days with the emphasis on enjoying the process and working safely.

Spoon carving is a perfect introduction to wood carving and an addictive hobby. You only need a few tools and small amounts of wood to create beautiful, useful gifts. Suitable for beginners or wood workers looking to escape the machines and get back to the joy of hand tools and soft, green wood.All materials and use of my tools is included in the price. Spoon carving kits, including the axe and two special knives shown in the photo, will be available to purchase on the day.
