Reconnect! - Creative Climate Cafe at the Cornerstone

Magnetic Ideals are a collective of self-employed artists, researchers and activists running projects and providing support, consultancy, research and training, for organisations and individuals working in the arts for community interest and for social sustainability.  We run projects that use creative and artistic ways of bringing communities together to create social change, campaign for social justice and find ways of locally and nationally challenging the climate crisis.  Regarding activist work, we have provided specialist consulting and training for Students’ Unions and Research Students, and other campaigning bodies, including coaching, setting up student-led research teams, officer training, campaign support, events management, research and analysis, and running workshops for activists on collective care.

Creative Climate CafeDiscuss issues around the climate crisis in a welcoming environment with warm drinks and art activities!Climate Cafes are open, inclusive spaces for people to talk and act on climate change, everyone is welcome to join the conversation and get involved. <a href="https://www.magneticideals.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Magnetic Ideals</a> and <a href="https://www.artsforlife.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Arts for Life</a> are running a climate cafe with a difference where there will be the option of engaging with art and creative practices to engage with issues around the climate crisisT﻿he session will run from 2pm - 4:30pm and warm drinks and snacks will be provided.You do not need to be an artist or a climate expert to join us! Everyone is welcome to join the conversation, and we hope to gain insight from a range of different people, perspectives and backgrounds.
