A gentle immersion retreat exploring the practice of yoga in a small, friendly group setting, in a beautiful location in the New Forest.

If you are interested in starting yoga, or maybe you've already started and would like to dig a bit deeper, this day retreat is for you.Set in the beautiful New Forest National Park, between Salisbury and Ringwood, the day starts at 10:00 with hot drinks and an introductory chat. We will go through an overview of what yoga is, how it works and how to gradually incorporate it into your toolbox.We will be a small group to keep it informal and you can ask questions at any time.We will then go through an asana class (the physical practice of yoga), the class will be suitable for all physical abilities and I will demonstrate how you can adapt everything to suit your needs.The day includes a delicious vegetarian and plant based lunch and time to have a stroll around the surrounding forest, weather permitting.In the afternoon we will explore other styles and practices contained within the science of yoga and the day finishes at 4, when you will be floating home, feeling relaxed and restored, nourished in body and mind, with a set of simple practices to incorporate into your life.All attendees at the Introduction to Yoga day will also receive a discount code for a future event or to be redeemed against a class pass.
