The CivTech® Programme

The CivTech 7 Demo Day is approaching – and we’d like you to be there!

CivTech is a Scottish Government programme that brings people from the public, private and third sectors together to build things that make the world a better place.We take real problems faced by government departments, public sector organisations and charities, and invite anyone with a brilliant idea to work hand-in-hand with us and them to create the solution. At the heart of the programme is our Innovation Flow, which centres around an intense 15-week Accelerator. Innovative and ambitious teams, selected through an open and straightforward process, are paid to build working prototypes — and receive a huge amount of business growth support. <a href="https://www.civtech.scot/process" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Find out more about our Innovation Flow here.</a> The CivTech 7 Accelerator is rapidly heading towards completion, and that means that the teams that have developed exciting, innovative solutions to the 13 Challenges first posted in June 2022 will be ready to present the results of their work. The products and services developed represent CivTech’s most interesting set of products so far and cover a wide and varied range of areas including climate emergency, biodiversity, care and wellbeing, and energy consumption. <a href="https://www.civtech.scot/civtech-7-challenges" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">You can find out more about the CivTech 7 Challenges here.</a> Demo Day gives the companies the opportunity to pitch their products to key stakeholders in the public, private and third sectors, and demonstrate their solutions’ potential for wider-scale use and commercialisation.
