GSTT are offering half day MDT events, 1 and 2 day study day options to follow the MDT where you can learn from our expert faculty

St Thomas' Hospital

Overview The Pelvic Floor department is a multi-disciplinary service which specialises in pelvic floor disorders including bowel, bladder vaginal symptoms. The team includes Consultant surgeons, specialist nurses, pelvic floor physiotherapists and Clinical Scientists. The department are a tertiary referral centre for triage assessment, bowel and pelvic retraining and also specialise in undertaking ano rectal physiology, endo and Pelvic floor scanning and Proctograms. Attendees to the weekly MDT session will observe the whole team and hear discussion of the cases of patients who have undergone Diagnostic assessment as well as those patients that have gone through our third and fourth degree tear clinic. The team will discuss difficult patients, queries and will also experience a Joint MDT with urologists, uro-gynaecologists and Surgical MDT. This is offered on 3 days in 2023:<ol><li>15th Feb 2023</li><li>14th June 2023</li><li>13th Sept 2023</li></ol>T﻿here will be two full study days following the MDT session, with the department.Who should attendConsultant surgeons physicians, clinical nurse specialists, clinical scientists, GI physiologists, pelvic floor physiotherapists, registrars – all from both urology, uro-gynaecology and colorectal backgrounds.P﻿LEASE NOTE THERE ARE DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE FOR NURSES, TRAINEES AND AHPs - AS WELL AS DISCOUNTS FOR ALL ATTENDEES FOR PURCHASING TWO STUDY DAYS.
