In this talk, Head of More House School, Faith Hagerty, will talk about the importance of creative thinking in schools.

Our distinguished speakers will be speaking about topics related to education, bilingualism and / or UK/China relations. Our talks are designed to be thought-provoking and reflect the exciting curriculum on offer at Kensington Wade.<h2>Next Event:</h2>Tuesday 7th February, 18:30 Faith Hagerty, Head of More House: "Creative Thinking for a Changing World" As a passionate believer in the power of the arts, Faith will talk about the importance of creative thinking in schools. She will discuss the creative curriculum employed at More House, as well as analysing arts subjects as facilitators, focusing on the way in which art, music and drama cultivate emotional intelligence, empathy and self confidence, all vital skills in our changing world. BiogFaith Hagerty started her career as an actor, having completed a degree in Drama, Film and Television at the University of Bristol and a Post Graduate Diploma in Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). She started out as a drama teacher in 2006 and cut her teeth as a middle and senior leader at St Augustine's Priory, before taking on her first headship at More House School in March 2021. As a Head, she is passionate about the power of the arts for all learners and sees arts subjects as facilitators. She also brings a creative approach to her leadership through exciting charity initiatives involving other schools such as last year's hugely successful Strictly Heads dance competition and this year's Strictly Headers football event.Having taught in Catholic girls' schools for 16 years, Faith is an advocate for girls' education as well as the celebration of the whole person integral to the Catholic school setting.
