The Fun Fed is a London based playful events company who since 2005 has created opportunities for people to shake off the day.We do that by running uplifting and unusual music, dance and games sessions every week that act as an antidote to the seriousness of everyday London life. Wholesome escapism is what we call it.Old school playground games are The Fun Fed's trademark sessions. But stopping at Games would be boring right? So whether it’s Djembe Drumming, BellyBolly or perhaps Soul Singing, you’ll be sure to find some pretty inventive ways to be entertained and uplifted with us.At The Fun Fed we pride ourselves on our network of friendly facilitators, ones who’ve mastered their crafts and love working with people.We’ve worked with big venues such as the Southbank Centre on a young peoples’ rightsfestivaland with small organisations such as St Paul’s Cancer on staff wellbeing sessions. You can find us onRadio 4talking about the positive impact of our work and also at International festivals likeCounterplayrunning interactive Play & Authenticity sessions. In a way you could say we’re serious about play.The Fun Fed believes that through playfulness and discovery we can lead happier, more fulfilling lives. There’s great warmth in collective voices coming together to create a unified joyful sound. Molara’s Joyful Singing workshop encourages this very sense of powerful positivity through the exploration of your own kept sound. With decades of experience in singing everything from reggae sound system, blues and world music you can expect an eclectic mix of melodies as well as some original arrangements.The magnificent Molara Awen will touch on the amazing sounds your voice can make and how to use this to reflect on the world arounds us. Her classes are inclusive to all levels with singing novices encouraged.Be prepared to leave that much more joyful.
