Skylarks 2023 (previously Green Angels)

The Green Team is a voluntary organisation providing outdoor experiences for young people,supporting them to learn about and connect with nature.Weprovide a range of programmes and events for young people to take part in environmental volunteering projects, making improvements tolocal greenspaces and learning about the natural environment.Young people can achieve a range of awards such as theJohn Muir AwardandDofE Award.Weekend projects are led by highly experienced teams of staff and volunteer leaders.

Our Skylarks programme is for girls and non-binary people aged 12-18.  It is the ideal programme to learn new skills, connect with nature in a fun and exciting way.  You will also make some great new friends along the way as we explore some of Edinburgh and the Lothian's amazing wild places. Skylarks days can count towards Duke of Edinburgh Skill or Volunteering Sections.   Ticket sales close Thursday, 5pm before each project date.The sessions all run on a Saturday. Please choose the option that is most appropriate for your financial situation. Free places are available; please email sarah.waterfield@greenteam.org.uk for more information</li><li>Participants should bring warm and waterproof clothing, a packed lunch and water.</li>We are able to offer minibus transport for all days at full capacity.
