We regularly hold events and training activities designed to help your community address your community needs through climate action projects in the just transition towards net zero.

T﻿ake 2023 by storm! A﻿t this session, you&#x27;ll learn from our Senior Development Officers and guest speakers how to build capacity within your community organisation to ensure positive results. Guest speakers include:<ul><li>H﻿elen Allan, chairperson of Thurso Community Development Trust - morning session only</li><li>Beverly Hill, Project Manager with Kyle of Sutherland Development Trust - speaking at both sessions. Beverly will be joined by a volunteer who is happy to share their experience of volunteering with Kyle of Sutherland Development Trust.</li></ul>S﻿pecific areas covered by guest speakers include:-	Managing volunteers involved with food growing and sharing projects. -	Volunteer retainment-	How to support volunteers -	The best ways they have found to recruit volunteers-	Being a board director and what that entailsW﻿e&#x27;ll take you step by step through empowering staff and volunteers and how to identify and utilise skills within your organisation which will allow your organisation to reach it&#x27;s goals more quickly and smoothly than ever before!
