We inviting SEND families and young people to join us to celebrate the new Disability Register. Join us for all or part of the session.Families can enjoy: Magician Nick Clark 2.15p and 2.45pm Enjoy this inclusive magic show from local magician Nick Clark! Each show is 20 minutes and places are limited. Official Launch 3.00pm-3.15pm Sensory Stories from West Sussex Libraries 3.15-3.45pmLibrary staff will share some of their favourite sensory stories Make your own sensory book and other crafts 2.00pm-4.00pmLibrary staff will be on hand to help you craft your own sensory book, plus colouring and a take home activity.Refreshments will be available throughout the event. This event is free, but please book so we know you are coming! (Please book one ticket per person attending aged 3 or over) -﻿----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Travelling to Worthing LibraryBy Bus - The Nearest bus stop is situated outside Worthing Library, Richmond Road which include The Pulse and 9 Stagecoach bus.<ul><li>The Stagecoach 9 bus serves Arundel to Shoreham Holmbush Centre and The Pulse West Durrington to Lancing. <a href="https://www.stagecoachbus.com/promos-and-offers/south/unpublished-pulse" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">(Timetable) </a></li><li>The 700 coastal route serves Brighton to Wick but also have other routes that connect to other districts. This stops at Worthing Seafront and is a 10-minute walk to Worthing Library. <a href="https://www.stagecoachbus.com/timetables" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">(Timetable)</a></li><li>The Metro bus 23 for services from Crawley and Horsham and which stops at Worthing Town Hall which is just up from the Worthing Museum and Arts Gallery. <a href="https://www.metrobus.co.uk/services/MB/23" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">(Timetable)</a></li></ul>By Train - From Worthing train station, it is a 10-minute walk to the library. Walk down the road straight outside the station (Oxford Road) and turn left, cross the road at the traffic lights and take next right on to Christchurch Road. Follow this road all the way down to Worthing County Court. Turn left, to join Richmond Road going past the County Court and the library will be just a short distance ahead to your left. Regular trains operate to Worthing Station from stations on the Brighton mainline.Worthing Station has step-free access to all platforms. A staff-operated ramp is required for step-free access between train and platform at this station. Station staff are usually available at the times listed below. On-train staff are also available to assist you on and off some services.
