This session will focus on embedding young people’s rights, participation, and citizenship across a local authority.

This session will focus on embedding young people’s rights, participation, and citizenship across a local authority - looking at the structures that can be used to gather the views of young people and the mechanisms that can assist in this.

Focussing on our Youth Participation and Citizenship Strategy we will look at the Child Centred Council model and how to take not only young people but partners and stakeholders on this journey with you.

Youth voice will be a key focus through the theme of Participatory Budgeting – looking at digital participation, online voting and the co-production model of Youth PB embedding themes such as Climate Change, how we measure the impact and how we create meaningful engagement with young people.
