The process involves coating paper with two iron based chemical solutions. When exposed to sunlight or put under a UV lamp, they react to create a deep-blue hue. By placing objects on the paper such as flowers and foliage and blocking out the light in certain areas you can create startling designs and patterns. Jocelyn will show how the addition of watery bubbles, salt crystals and spices can give a more textured and abstract impression. It’s quite a simple process and great fun - although a little unpredictable!Venue: Landmark Arts Centre in Ferry Road, Teddington TW11 9NN. Signing up to this event gives you free entry to the Richmond &amp; Twickenham Photographic Society exhibition at the Landmark where several hundred photographs will be on display; just show your Eventbrite ticket on the door.
