#POCIMPACT

Join the community circle, finding new ways to connect with each other and put our wellbeing first

#POCIMPACT is a POC-led community recognising, supporting and connecting people of colour working in the social impact sector. This community is working to affect wider change in the sector by challenging and breaking down its structural inequalities. Please note: this event is exclusively for People of Colour.
POC Community Circle
We're excited to host the first Community Circle session of 2023 to further support our emotional, mental and spiritual health as a community. This is a safe space for you to bring whatever experiences you would like to share or explore together, no matter how big or small. We will also explore some frameworks and tools that will help you on your journey of making sense of your racialised experiences. The sessions will offer you the space to:

Check in with how we’re feeling and engage in deeper conversation.

Share experiences with ourselves and others, to truly feel seen and heard.

Develop a greater awareness of our body's response to what we might be experiencing.

Come away with some healing practices to integrate in daily life

This is not only a space for us to check in with how we're feeling and engage in deeper conversation, but is also a space for us to truly feel seen and heard as we share our experience, and give that same opportunity to others. It's an opportunity to develop a greater awareness of our body's response to what we might be experiencing, and to connect to our personal power, and the power of community. There is also no pressure to share, and you can type your responses or just listen! So please join us with some real community connection, If you would like to further support our workshops and future activities, please feel free to make a donation alongside reserving your ticket!Sign up and streaming info to follow.
Accessibility
- No level of fitness/flexibility is required and you will not need any additional equipment to take part.- There will not be an interpreter. If you have any questions about accessibility, please get in touch with us on pocimpact@gmail.com.Can't make this event... then don't worry!Join our online #POCIMPACT community here and keep updated on future events via our newsletter here.
