A beautifully simple, playful but effective qigong routine, honouring the energies of the seasons.

Qigong, or energy work, is one of the simplest, safest methods of taking gentle exercise that strengthens and relaxes the physical, mental and spiritual body. Once known as Daoyin, which means guiding and pulling, it is based on a knowledge of the 5 elements as they manifest through the seasons.

The 5 Element Dance is a playful little routine, effective but fun to do and easy to learn in an hour. In additiojn, all participants will receive a worksheet to help them practise at home.

All but one move can be adapted for sitting.

There is the option to stay for lunch at the café and/or attend Michael Wintle-Brown's sound bath in the afternoon (no need to book).
