This 2 hours workshop is run by self-taught artist Peter Massey. Peter has been painting interiors and landscapes in watercolour for 18 years. He has successfully exhibited at Letchworth Museum and Peter’s watercolour paintings can be seen on the walls of The Threehorseshoes Pub at Norton. He greatly admired the late celebrated watercolorist, John Lidzey.
In a progressive manner, through a serie of exercises, you will learn to make moody skies, glorious landscapes, bright seascapes, and colorful still life paintings exploiting the fluid mark-making of watercolour.
You will learn about:
* materials, papers and brushes, * brush strokes, * drawing for watercolor, * colour mixing, * flat wash, * simple wet into wet, * composition and perspective. All materials and refreshment are included.
