Get Your Hands Dirty with My 5-Week Pottery Course!

Ready to dive into the world of clay and creativity?

My name is Francesca, and I host intimate 5-week pottery courses in my cosy home studio in Fremantle. As a professional potter, I love sharing my knowledge while creating a welcoming space where creative people can relax, connect, and make beautiful things with their hands.

If you’re looking to slow down, meet like-minded creative souls, dedicate time to yourself, or simply try something new, this course is designed for you.

Over 5 fun-filled consecutive weeks, we’ll explore the main three hand-building pottery techniques while giving you the freedom to create pieces that feel personal and inspiring to you. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some experience with clay, you’ll be guided step-by-step in a supportive and relaxed environment.

What We’ll Cover

During the first 4 weeks, we’ll focus on creating ceramic pieces using the three main hand-building techniques:

  • Pinch pottery
  • Coil building
  • Slab building

You’ll have the freedom to create the pieces you’re most excited about. Popular projects include:

  • Mugs
  • Vases

  • Plant pots
  • Incense holders
  • Jewellery trays
  • Wall hangings
