Clinging to barren rock, thriving in secret places, building connections that in turn build our lives—now is the time of slime. From Cosmic Horror to viral YouTube trends, slime sends out spores that culture within our cultures. Slime’s Queer sexualities, eco-gothic tensions, and cosmic terrors force open new ways of knowing.
This talk will explore the slippery taxonomies of slime, take you on a gothic journey to the hidden corners of culture where slime thrives, and reveal a gooey approach to utopian Marxist politics. There’s an entire world of strange discourse ready to ooze through your screen. 
It’s time we got stuck into the mire of ontology and find out what’s going on with the goo you thought you knew.
