People into Permaculture - Little Things Workshop - 22nd Feb 2023

Magnetic Ideals are a collective of self-employed artists, researchers and activists running projects and providing support, consultancy, research and training, for organisations and individuals working in the arts for community interest and for social sustainability.  We run projects that use creative and artistic ways of bringing communities together to create social change, campaign for social justice and find ways of locally and nationally challenging the climate crisis.  Regarding activist work, we have provided specialist consulting and training for Students’ Unions and Research Students, and other campaigning bodies, including coaching, setting up student-led research teams, officer training, campaign support, events management, research and analysis, and running workshops for activists on collective care.

Free training and skills sessions to develop new skills and help build community through creativity, eco-arts, sustainability  and confidence building.

Little Things WorkshopPeople into Permaculture - Come and learn about the basics of how you can live more sustainably and connect with nature in a way that doesn’t cost the earth. These workshops are run by our partners People into Permaculture, and give a basic intro to what permaculture is as well as some simple changes you can make in your life and simple exercises to embody the ethos of people care, earthshare and fareshare. You will learn creative ways of working and sorting out your life based on permaculture principles. Find solutions and solve problems around things that might put extra stress on your plate with the cost of living crisis. We’ll be using creative solutions, fun and games, links to nature and community. We really welcome people who have disabilities, marginalised groups, LGBTQIA*+, non-binary.
