Cultivating Cultural Competencies for Global Citizenship in Nursing

INU's Intercultural Learning for Global Engagement Conference 2023

In this session, the INU Nursing Collaborative will share their findings from their INU-funded Seed Money Project on “The Use of Virtual Learning Spaces to Cultivate Cultural Competency and Leadership for Global Citizenship in Nursing”. The project aligned with the vision and mission of INU as it aims to combine resources, knowledge, and skills of six of the consortium university in supporting global citizenship and leadership. By means of the virtual platform, the collaboration provided students and faculty members an opportunity to globally engage, share experiences and perspectives while enhancing cultural competency and cultivating necessary leadership skills to function in an everchanging globalized world.
