Hitting the Ground Running... is a series of masterclasses looking to answer your questions on how to start a career in theatre. From fundraising & pitching to finding an agent - make it happen!

<h3></h3><h2>After this 90-minute masterclass, you will feel confident and equipped to take your first steps as a theatre-maker. Led by your questions, you will receive expert insights and top tips to make your ideas happen on the stage.</h2><h2></h2><h2>We are fundraising for our next production DREAM SCHOOL by Francis Grin. </h2><p>To raise funds we are running a series of pay-what-you-can events where tickets are purchased by making a donation (including the option of £0). All donations will go towards the production funds for <em>DREAM SCHOOL.</em> We are extremely grateful for donations of any amount. </p><p>For reference, we usually charge £5 for &#x27;Low-Income&#x27; tickets and £10 for &#x27;Supporters of the Collective&#x27; tickets.</p><p>To find out exactly what your money will contribute, get in touch!</p><p></p><h2>About the workshop</h2><p>New to the industry?  Student or recent graduate? Looking to take your first steps as a theatre-maker?</p><p>This relaxed masterclass is led by Director &amp; Producer Charlotte Everest and Actor Jennie Eggleton. They invite you to ask any questions you may have as Charlotte and Jennie take you through their top tips and insights when starting a career as a theatre-maker.</p><p>Together, you will explore how to find work, discover inspiration, find your collaborators, fundraise, network, as well as pitch your ideas and yourself. </p><h2></h2><h2>Do I need experience in acting?</h2><p>No experience in acting is necessary, this workshop is open to all levels.</p><p>You will receive a Zoom link to participate on the day of the event.</p><p></p><h2>Do I need to bring anything?</h2><p>Yourself and something to take notes on! This is a Zoom event, so a good internet connection works best.</p><p></p><h2><strong>Access Requirements?</strong></h2><p>How can we support your access needs? Drop us an email and let us know.
