An illustrated insight into fungi, human interaction with them and what species you might come across on the Quantocks

Join local naturalist Peter Baker for an illustrated talk about what fungi are, their biology, life cycle and how we humans have interacted with them throughout history.There will be an emphasis on species found growing in the Quantocks and many of the illustrated examples will be photographs taken locally. Peter has many years&#x27; experience offering guided fungi walks (and others) at Durborough Farm in Quantocks and is happy to answer any questions following the presentation. Everyone is welcome, the event is open to all; both members and non-members of Friends of Quantock. We just ask for a donation on the evening to help cover the costs of hall hire and refreshments which will be provided.
