The Elections Act is changing who can vote and how. This event will enable the Italian community to learn and stay involved in democracy.

FULL VENUE DETAILS WILL BE SENT AS SOON AS YOU REGISTER ON EVENTBRITE.[English]The Greater London Authority (GLA) and Shout Out UK (SOUK) have launched a public awareness campaign on the changes to voting rights brought by the Elections Act - including the need to have photo ID to vote and changes to EU citizens’ voting rights.EU citizens will be affected by the Act both on WHO can vote and HOW. That&#x27;s why the3million is helping reach out to EU citizens in London.the3million and Shout Out UK are hosting a series of events so EU Londoners can find out about how the changes brought by the Elections Act 2022 will affect them and how they can continue making their voices heard through the democratic process in their home - London.This event will be for Italian Londoners, but also a multilingual event in both English and Italian. As this is a safe space, your RSVP is important, as applications will be reviewed and further event details sent in good time.The event will be on the 16th of February at 6:30pm. Entry is free. Si tratta fra l’altro della necessità di portare una carta d’identità con foto alle urne ed inoltre di modifiche ai diritti di voto dei cittadini dell’UE nel Regno Unito.La nuova legge incide sia su CHI ha il diritto di votare, sia su COME si vota. E’ per questo motivo che The3million si rivolge ai cittadini europei di Londra.Insieme The3million e Shout Out UK stanno organizzando una serie di incontri per informare i cittadini europei di Londra sui cambiamenti introdotti dall’Elections Act 2022 e su come possono continuare a far sentire la propria voce partecipando al processo democratico della loro città (di residenza), Londra.Questa serata informativa si rivolge in particolare ai residenti italiani di Londra e si terrà sia in italiano che in inglese. Per motivi di sicurezza vi preghiamo di registrarvi in anticipo. Il luogo dell’evento vi verrà comunicato dopo la registrazione.Stiamo collaborando con il Consolato Italiano per offrire un evento mirato alla comunità italiana, invitando i cittadini italiani ad informarsi maggiormente sui propri diritti di voto e incoraggiandoli a partecipare ancora di più al processo democratico.L’evento si terrà il 16 febbraio alle ore 18:00.
