Come along to Holocaust Centre North for a day of talks, workshops and panels designed to increase subject knowledge and skills on teaching the Holocaust, tackling racism and how to embed the Prevent agenda into your everyday teaching. We will be joined from experts in the education sector to share up to date experience, research and help develop your classroom practice. T﻿he day is open to all teachers and educators from primary through to higher education who teach the Holocaust or relevant subjects.

Our experts from the world of education and Holocaust research include:A﻿lex Maws - Head of Educational Grants and Projects at The Association of Jewish RefugeesD﻿r Andy Pearce - Associate Professor in Holocaust and History Education at UCLG﻿race Nelson &amp; Naomi Griffiths - Littlechild - Education Team at Anne Frank Trust UKH﻿annah Randall - Head of Learning at Holocaust Centre NorthA﻿li Amla - Youth and Partnerships Director at Solutions not SidesW﻿e will also be joined by Judith Rhodes, a second generation Holocaust survivor, who is the daughter of a Holocaust child refugee. Judith will share her mothers story and then discuss the future of Holocaust education, the use of testimony and a world when we have no Holocaust survivors left. Alongside the full day of talks, workshops and panels you will have exclusive access to our Exhibition including a behind the scenes look at some of the highlights of our Collection.

Your ticket includes access to the full day, refreshments, a buffet lunch and an exclusive resource! All attendees will also receive a discount to bring their own school to visit us at the exhibition for a learning session.
