This seminar will be co-hosted by the Centre for Human Rights. Rebecca Lawrence will deliver a research seminar discussion on the Bill of Rights and Prisoner Rights, followed by interactive Q&amp;A. Details of the session below. About the Session The presentation will discuss the potential impact of the proposed Bill of Rights on the protection currently offered to prisoners in the UK under the Human Rights Act. The reasons for the introduction of the Bill, aspects of the drafting and consultation process, and key provisions will be discussed in turn before considering the specific impact of the bill on the rights of prisoners. About the SpeakerRebecca Lawrence has recently completed her PhD in prisoner rights under the European Convention on Human Rights at the University of Exeter.
