Join us for the first in person meeting of the Redbridge Climate Forum to kick off 2023.

<p>Following 3 successful online meetings in 2022, <a href="https://engagement.redbridge.gov.uk/strategy/95390866/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Redbridge Climate Forum</a> will be meeting in person for the first time on Tuesday 28 February 2023, from 6:30 - 8:30pm in Redbridge Town Hall, Ilford. </p><p>All Redbridge residents and businesses welcome to find out what our council and communities have achieved so far, and to be part of where we&#x27;re going.</p><ul><li>Hear from Cabinet Member for the Environment and Civic Pride, Cllr Jo Blackman for a progress update on the Redbridge Climate Action Plan as well as local from local community groups. J﻿ose Baladron from TRAID will provide further food for thought as he share&#x27;s the charity&#x27;s approach to sustainability for people and planet.</li></ul><ul><li>B﻿e inspired by, or part of a &#x27;community marketplace&#x27; showcasing and sharing positive carbon reduction, planet friendly initiatives in the borough. No fancy display materials needed - if you have a community group active on this agenda <a href="https://www.redbridge.gov.uk/our-streets/contact-your-local-neighbourhood-engagement-and-education-officer/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">get in touch so we can share what you&#x27;ve been up to!</a></li></ul><ul><li>Light refreshments will be provided. Please bring a travel mug or similar for your hot or cold drink!</li></ul><ul><li>There will be a seed and seedling swap, give, or take at the event. Please bring any extra seeds or seedlings you may have to donate or exchange for something different. </li></ul><ul><li> ﻿Network and learn about and from other active groups in the borough and be part of more Climate Action in 2023.</li></ul>
